Singer Cardi B, hospitalized for a medical emergency

Singer and actress Cardi B has had to cancel a performance at the One MusicFest in Atlanta, Georgia, scheduled for next Saturday, due to a medical emergency that has led her to be admitted to a hospital.

As reported by the singer herself on her Instagram account, the medical problem occurred almost two months after giving birth to her third child, the result of her relationship with her ex-husband, rapper Offset.

“I am very sad to share this news,” Cardi B wrote in a message shared on the social network, “but I have been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency the last few days and will not be able to perform at ONE MusicFest” in Atlanta.

The 32-year-old singer did not reveal the details of her health and simply added that she was heartbroken not to see “my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”

“Thank you for understanding and soon I will return better and stronger. Don’t worry. “I love you all,” said the New York singer. Meanwhile, those responsible for the festival echoed the artist’s message and wished her a speedy recovery.

Event organizers: “Let’s keep her in our prayers for a full recovery!”

“Unfortunately Cardi B has announced that she is no longer available to join us this year due to health issues. Let’s keep her in our prayers for a full recovery! We are working hard to find a replacement at this late date. There will be more soon,” those responsible for the event wrote on their Instagram account.

Cardi B gave birth to her third child in September, just a month after filing for divorce from the Migos member after seven years of marriage.
