Moving a child to the other side of the world is always a very emotional event, but Hannah Mancini admits that she is happy for her 18-year-old daughter Astrid.
American singer and our former Eurovision representative Hannah Mancini she returned from her native America a few days ago. The journey was very difficult and emotional for her, as she is currently dealing with a new chapter in her life – saying goodbye to her daughter Astrid, who is moving back to California, where she was born, after 17 years of living in Slovenia. Astrid decided to move because she got a job opportunity, namely this winter she will work as a ski instructor in a prestigious ski resort, and in the spring she plans to move to Los Angeles, where she will continue her life’s journey.

With her daughter Astrid, the singer Hannah Mancini enjoyed many cultural events in Ljubljana.
“This is a very emotional period for me, I have mixed feelings. As a mother, I am extremely proud of Astrid, her achievements and courage, but at the same time saying goodbye to my daughter is very emotional and difficult for me, because her life will be on the other side of the world, far away from her parents. Of course, I had to accompany her on the trip, because I really appreciate the moments we spend together as mother and daughter.” said Hannah almost in tears for Lady, who will have to get used to a new reality – life without a daughter in Ljubljana.
