Six North Korean officers were killed in a missile strike near Donetsk

Officers from North Korea had arrived for consultations with their Russian counterparts. Three more North Korean soldiers were injured.

Before the missile strike, the Russians demonstrated to the representatives of North Korea how personnel are trained for attack and defense, according to Russian social media.

In June, news emerged that North Korea plans to send military construction and engineering forces for “reconstruction work” in the occupied part of the Donetsk region.

Western intelligence estimates that half of the roughly three million artillery shells used by Russia each year come from North Korea.
