SKT announced on the 17th that it won the Best Innovation Award at the ‘CES Innovation Awards’ announced ahead of ‘CES 2025’, the world’s largest electronics fair, to be held in Las Vegas, USA in January next year.
Every November, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which hosts CES, selects the best technologies or products in each field that will shine at CES the following year and announces the CES Innovation Awards. In particular, among the CES Innovation Award winners, the Best Innovation Award is given to the product or technology that received the highest evaluation from the judges.
Scam Vanguard is a technology that provides AI-based cyber threat information to detect and respond to various threats that can occur on mobile devices.
Main functions include ▲decoy text detection and notification based on deep learning structure ▲AI bot-based SNS fraud prevention ▲machine learning-based fraud call pattern detection and identification.
It is being used for the Adot phone, which was commercialized last October, to provide information on suspected spam and voice phishing calls, and for the spam filtering service of the identity authentication service ‘PASS’ and ‘Chat + PC version’.
Lee Jong-min, in charge of SKT’s future R&D, said, “We will continue to develop various AI-based security services and take the lead in protecting our customers’ valuable information and assets from threats such as spam.”
