The new coach will have more than 300 million pounds available for transfers, writes the British newspaper Mirror.

During his eight seasons, Guardiola not only built an incredible team with which he won eighteen trophies, but also laid the foundations of an economically profitable club.

It is no longer the case that it is only subsidized by Sheikh Mansour as in the first few years after his accession in 2008.

“The sustained period of unprecedented success under Guardiola has allowed the club to lock in lucrative commercial revenue streams that have further strengthened City’s ability to generate huge sums through transfers as well,” writes the same newspaper.

Pep Guardiola: “I’ve been at City for eight years and I won’t be here for another eight years, so I’m closer to leaving than staying. But I didn’t say I was leaving.

Maybe I didn’t say it right, but that was my feeling at the moment. When I’m leaving, I’ll say I’m leaving. But I haven’t done it yet. We’ll see what happens. I definitely do not rule out extending the contract.”

The club has amassed a huge fortune that will ensure Guardiola’s successor – or himself – can continue to target the world’s best players in the transfer market.

According to the Mirror, this puts him in a position of huge strength when UEFA’s new financial rules are tightened next year.

Regulations limit spending on transfers, wages and agents’ commissions to 70 percent of club income. After winning the treble last year, City’s revenue reached £712.8 million, an absolute Premier League record. And that number is expected to rise further when the next financial year is published.

But back to Guardiola: will he stay?

City management are persuading him not to leave and extend his tenure at the Etihad for a decade or more.

Club owner Sheikh Mansour has reportedly told club chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak to do whatever it takes to keep Guardiola in Manchester beyond June 2025.

Manchester City remains the most valuable brand in the Premier League. According to Brand Finance, who said in this year’s Brand Finance Football 50 report, the club’s value has increased by 7 per cent to a whopping £1.4 billion.

The majority owner of Manchester City is the royal Sheikh of Abu Dhabi Mansour. The current Premier League champions are part of the multi-club ownership structure City Football Group. CFG owns shares in 13 football teams on five continents.

Other clubs in the ownership structure include New York City FC and Melbourne City.

Sheikh Mansour is the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates. He is also vice-chairman of Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth fund, Mubadala Investment Company, which reportedly manages a portfolio worth around £250 billion.

Just a reminder that Manchester City will also play against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League. It will be performed on Tehelno poli on October 1 at 9 p.m.

Vladimír Weiss Jr. also played in the City academy in the past. and Róbert Mak. It will be a special duel for both.
