Slovan’s win was directed by Barsejjan. Against Bystrica, a new team – Fortuna liga – Futbol also prevailed

In the 5th round of the football Nike League, Banská Bystrica did not score for the first time in the season when they lost at home to Slovan Bratislava 0:2.

The reigning champions recorded their fourth league victory in a row. The duel started with an eight-minute delay due to a malfunctioning communication technical device at the head referee Micheľ.

Bystrica were able to take the lead after the escape of Rymarenko, whom he chased down and finally shut down Kašia from the end. The visitors had a great chance after Metsok’s shot, when the ball was blocked by the home team Klimpl and ended up on the crossbar.

In the second half, the crossbar shook again, this time after substitute Tolić finished in the top five. The home team had a chance after Hlinka’s shot from behind the small goal area, goalkeeper Trnovský shined.

The goal was scored in the 67th minute after a well-timed pass by Barseghjan to Metsok, when Hlinka was unable to catch up with him and the Slovan striker finished exactly in the penalty area.

Barsgehjan made it 0-2 seven minutes later with an uncompromising left-footed shot in the penalty area after intercepting the ball. The end of the duel was expertly guarded by Slovan, when he had not yet subdued Rehák from the corner of the Strelec five.

Ružomberok scored in the end

The footballers of MFK Ružomberok drew 2:2 with MFK Zemplín Michalovce in the 5th round of the Nike League. Home striker Marko Kelemen had the first chance of the match in the 26th minute, but he overshot the goal. However, in the 41st minute, the guests struck, after a pass from Matúš Marcin, Nigerian Usman Adekunle Issa scored from close range.

After the change of sides in the 49th minute, Michalovce jumped to 0:2 when Stanislav Danko shot from a distance, MFK goalkeeper Dominik Ťapaj kicked the ball just in front of him and Usman Adekunle Issa enjoyed his second goal.

In the 81st minute, Liptáci reduced the lead when Martin Chrien headed in, while the ball from the left post ended up in the net.

The equalizer came in the 90th minute. With the hand of one player in the Michalov penalty area, the head referee Matej Choreń, after consulting the VAR system, ordered a penalty kick in favor of the home team, which Martin Boďa converted – 2:2.
