A military man was detained by DIICOT prosecutors – Târgu Mureş Territorial Service, after which he was arrested by the Cluj Napoca Military Court, being caught red-handed while selling psychoactive substances.
“On 15.07.2024, the prosecutors of the Organized Crime and Terrorism Investigation Department – Târgu Mureş Territorial Service ordered the detention of a defendant (military), investigated for committing the crime of carrying out, without the right, operations with products likely to have psychoactive effects. The measure was taken after, on the same day, he was caught in the act while selling the quantity of approximately 500 grams of psychoactive substance (2 MMC)”, says a press release from the Criminal Investigation Department Organized and Terrorism – Târgu Mureş Territorial Service.
During Tuesday, the judge of rights and liberties of the Cluj Napoca Military Court ordered the measure of preventive arrest of the defendant, for a duration of 30 days, the quoted source said.
The judicial activities were carried out together with the policemen of the Târgu Mureş Organized Crime Brigade.
