Some units of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will use the Exynos 2500

Not even half a month has passed since we heard again how Samsung will use only Snapdragon chipsets for the upcoming Galaxy S25 series or that as a rumor has it will exclusively include the Exynos 2500 SoC. However, the latest Geekbench score sheet shows Galaxy S25+ running on Exynos 2500essentially confirming the company’s previous plan – some markets have the Exynos-powered versions (like the European market) while others will reportedly get the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

There were even rumors that Samsung is struggling to improve the performance of the Exynos 2500, but it seems that the situation is not so bad. The score sheet showing the Galaxy S25+ running on the unreleased Exynos 2500, is solid proof that some markets will get the new Exynos processor.

We will also see its configuration CPU – 10 core CPU with the main core running at 3.3GHz, coupled with two high-performance cores at 2.75GHz and five more at 2.36GHz. There are only two energy-efficient cores at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is an Xclipse 950, powered by AMD’s RDNA architecture.

As for the scores, we suggest not to pay too much attention as this is obviously a pre-production sample and therefore comparisons with the Dimensity 9400 and Snapdragon 8 Elite chips are pointless at this point.
