Following the unexpected leak of a nearly finished version of the game, the advertising campaign for the hotly anticipated third-person shooter Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has returned to more traditional forms of project promotion.

The latest in a series of gameplay videos dedicated to a specific element of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (like the planet Kadaku or the chainsword) shows off the features of the Heavy Bolter.
With its large caliber rounds and large magazine capacity, the Heavy Bolter is capable of inflicting heavy damage on enemies, making it ideal for both thinning out Tyranid hordes and penetrating the armor of heavily armored foes.
According to the developers of Space Marine 2, the “fury of the heavy bolter” is used by the Ultramarines to support infantry soldiers during assaults, as well as to get out of critical situations.
Comments to the video profess their love for the heavy bolter, provide quotes dedicated to it, and even create advertising slogans for the weapon, like this one from 588holly: “Solves problems with frightening speed.”
The heavy bolter will be available to use to solve problems with alarming speed in the story campaign (with three-player co-op), the PvE mode Operations (also for three participants) and the PvP mode Eternal War (6 vs. 6).
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on September 9 on PC (Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X and S, but buyers of premium editions will get access four days earlier. There will be no microtransactions or in-game store in the shooter.
