The Danish Film Institute is to fire 12 employees as part of a series of savings, which are due, among other things, to financial problems with the establishment of the controversial Film Tag at the Film Institute in Copenhagen.
This is what the Film Institute writes in a press release. The Film Institute is responsible for distributing Danish film support and for promoting Danish films. It has a total of around DKK 500 million annually and employs around 150 employees.
