Netflix has been offering access to games for iOS devices as part of its subscription for a long time. Many of them are based on series and films from this website’s catalog. Now it has been announced that another such production will be released there next month – Squid Game: Unleashed.
“Squid Game” is a South Korean series from 2021, which became extremely popular among viewers shortly after its premiere. It tells the story of a man addicted to gambling who, in order to pay off his debts, decides to take part in a terrifying competition in which he and others like him try your skills in a series of life-threatening challenges inspired by children’s games. The game based on it, Squid Game: Unleashed, will focus on online competition between players, allowing them to take part in a series of arcade mini-games more or less inspired by the series tournament.
The release of Squid Game: Unleashed for iOS is announced on December 17. The game will be available for free download, but will require an active Netflix account to play. People who will use the pre-registration option in App Storewill receive an additional in-game character skin on launch.
