The city will hold a corresponding competition.

Designers from the Northern capital were encouraged to take part in a competition to develop the style of a new uniform for public transport workers.

The winners will have to come up with a design for male and female uniforms for transport employees. We are talking about clothing for drivers, controllers and conductors of buses, trolleybuses, trams, train drivers, cashiers and metro attendants, the press service of the St. Petersburg Transport Committee reported.

The competition will run from December 2024 to June 2025. The winners of the competition will be able to take part in the further production of uniforms for transport enterprises in St. Petersburg, the Committee added.

They also explained that young professionals, students of specialized educational institutions, eminent designers and representatives of the St. Petersburg Design project are invited to participate in the competition.

It was previously reported that employees of three city transport enterprises in St. Petersburg will have their salaries raised again starting in the New Year.
