St. Petersburg resident dismembers young common-law wife

A resident of St. Petersburg killed his own common-law wife. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Northern Capital.

The criminal was apprehended thanks to his ex-wife. The woman contacted the police and reported that her ex-husband had recorded several voice messages for her, in which he described in detail the crime he had committed. Now the St. Petersburg resident has been charged with the murder of his common-law wife.

The detainee confessed that he stabbed his 21-year-old lover in the heart and dismembered her. He tried to dissolve the remains of the unfortunate woman in acid. The barrel with the body of the murdered woman was found in the trunk of the St. Petersburg resident’s car – it had been there for about a week. The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is currently being decided.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that the killer was accidentally detained at the Kaliningrad airport, where he fled after committing the crime. The man wanted to return to St. Petersburg, but due to severe alcohol intoxication, he fell asleep at the airport. There he was detained for disturbing public order.
