Stalker 2 requires 32 GB of primary memory for highest settings

The highly anticipated Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is days away from launch and developers GSC Game World have now shared the official system requirements. As previously reported, the minimum requirements are generous for those who settle for the lowest settings. However, the free storage space requirement has increased from 150 GB to 160 GB.

One change is that you now need at least 16 GB of primary memory even to run the game at the minimum level, compared to the previous 8 GB. For higher graphics settings, such as “High” and “Epic”, the requirements have also been updated: 32 GB of primary memory is now recommended to run the game in at least 1440p resolution and at 60 FPS.

Here are the official system requirements.

For the highest settings, “Epic”, with 2160p resolution and 60 FPS, you need a graphics card such as Geforce RTX 4080 or Radeon RX 7900 XTX. On the processor side, either a Ryzen 7 7700X or a 16-core Core i7-13700KF is required.

Nvidia has confirmed that Stalker 2 will have support for DLSS 3 and Frame Generation. Ray Tracing support, on the other hand, is not available at launch, but according to Wccftech it may come in a future update. Support for AMD’s FSR and Intel’s XeSS is still unclear.

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl launches on November 20.
