Comic artist John Cassaday has died at the age of 52.
In addition to Astonishing X-Men and Star Wars comics, John Cassaday was also known for Captain America and especially Planetary, which he created with Warren Ellis.
In Finland, Cassaday’s production has been published in Ryhame-X magazine in 2006 (Egmont) and as much as one DC Special in Planetarya in 2007 (Egmont). The Star Wars comics drawn by Cassidy in 2015 were a huge hit in the USA, but they have never been translated into Finnish.
John Cassaday died in New York on Monday, September 9. The artist’s sister Robin Cassaday reported on the matter.
The cause of death has not been stated.
