Starship. Donald Trump watched the launch, and Elon Musk reveals SpaceX’s plans

Starship flew into space on Tuesday evening (Poland time). SpaceX has launched the world’s largest rocket again. This time the mission was not as spectacular as the previous one. The first stage, called Super Heavy, fell into the ocean and the company did not attempt to recover it using a huge arm attached to the tower. Which doesn’t change the fact that there was something to see.

Donald Trump watched the launch of the Starship rocket

Starship launches gather many SpaceX fans near Boca Chica to watch the spectacular flights live. It was no different during Tuesday’s mission. This time he also appeared among the viewers President-elect Donald Trump.

Before Starship’s launch, Elon Musk gave Donald Trump a tour of the Starbase mission control center. Later, the president-elect of the United States had the opportunity to admire the launch of a huge rocket from an open-air location.

I’m going to the great state of Texas to watch the launch of the largest object ever launched, not only into space, but simply left the ground. Good luck Elon Musk and the Great Patriots involved in this amazing project!

Elon Musk reveals SpaceX’s upcoming plans

This time SpaceX did not capture the booster using the arm on the tower, but another such attempt will occur during the next mission. Elon Musk added that already during the 8th orbital flight, his company may attempt to land the second stage for the first time Starship rocket, which is simply called a ship.

So far, this has not been done and the Starship’s second stages fell into the ocean. Although we could already see them slowing down before hitting the water surface. The next step will be to land in the tower frames, as previously happened with Super Heavy.

Further Starship flights are planned for next year. There is also a lot of talk about refueling the ship in orbit. Such a trial is also scheduled to be carried out early in 2025 and will be a very difficult task. However, this will open up the possibility for SpaceX to send the rocket to more distant places – to the Moon and Mars.
