In the fall, it’s time for school and the workplace, but you can’t miss out on relaxation either. We show you some gadgets that you can use to spice up your everyday life.
When it comes to studying or working while sitting at a desk, many people think of a gray, weak desktop computer or a boring laptop, on which even serious work is floundering, and games won’t even start. Of course, if you have to work or study at home, your machine is definitely more powerful, and it can even be a cool gaming machine, since something designed for games and gamers can be just as good for work.
The exact same applies to the peripherals, from which it is worth choosing from the gaming line for playing, so that your virtual hero has fast and precise movement and aiming. However, that’s not all: gaming peripherals also show what they are capable of during work, and here we are not only referring to their two good qualities already mentioned above: they are also comfortable and ergonomic, which matters a lot during a busy day. We show you a complete set, which not only match each other in design, but are also ergonomic, precise and look good.
PLEASE Delta II
Let’s start right away with the headset, which not only helps you to determine the exact positions of the opponents in the game and to experience them, it is also very useful if you want to fully concentrate on your work and studies. Because as the PLEASE Delta II– the game effects sound with elemental power, you can also choose soothing background noise or instrumental music for work, the Delta II isolates from external noises and sounds crystal clear even at low volume. Many headphones or headsets are capable of this, but with most you have to accept the cable, which can be uncomfortable during typing and video chat. Not so with the ROG Delta II, which can also be used completely wirelessly.
If you’re playing, with the ROG SpeedNova connection, all sounds reach you (and from you) with almost no delay, but if you’re studying, working and want comfort, you can also activate the primary, simple Bluetooth connection. You won’t have any complaints about comfort either, the Delta II weighs only 318 grams, and the D-shaped pillow is comfortable even for all-day wear. If something is wireless, the operating time cannot be taken lightly either. In the case of the ROG Delta II headset, this can be up to 110 hours, which is a lot, but if your headset does run out of power, you can get 11 hours of operating time in 15 minutes of charging.
ROG Keris II Ace and Scabbard II
If it’s aiming, then it’s clear that you need an ever-vigilant and pinpoint mouse, under which, of course, there is a matching pad that helps with positioning. Available in black and white PLEASE Keris II Ace one of the latest mice from ASUS, which, in addition to being the winner of the Reddot design award 2024, is special in several ways. An example is the weight of only 54 grams, which was achieved without shrinking the size of the mouse, which means that it is comfortable to use even with normal-sized hands. The feather-light mouse has the most advanced sensor, the ROG AimPoint Pro optical sensor is capable of 42 thousand dpi! Most office copies don’t even add a tenth of that. You also don’t have to compromise on the switches due to the low weight, because optical micro switches certified for 100 million clicks work under the main buttons. The 100% PTFE soles are responsible for friction-free sliding, while the side of the mouse sticks well to your hand and does not slide.
Since everyday life doesn’t just consist of 24 hours of gaming, sometimes you also have to work or study, so accurate positioning will be useful even then, as will the three connection methods. In addition to the ROG SpeedNova wireless technology, you can also activate a simple Bluetooth connection or connect it to your computer via cable, so your PC charges the battery while you are using it.
Underneath such a professional mouse is a high-quality mouse pad and tabletop protector. THE ROG Scabbard II it is available in two sizes (medium and large), and the black upper part decorated with the ROG logo has a special nano coating. This special layer also repels water, oil and dust, helping to keep your work area clean. The back is rubberized, so sliding is completely excluded, and the side edges are hemmed flat so that they cannot fray even during intensive use.
ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless
We have left what many consider the most important of all peripherals to the end – but if not the most important, then at least the most spectacular or the most complicated. This is the keyboard, of which you can naturally find a nice selection at ASUS. THE ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless it is especially worthy of your attention because it is capable of tricks that only a few people can do.
The 96% keyboard, which is available in black and white and lacks page control buttons (more precisely, it is found on the numeric part), is extremely comfortable, which is only enhanced by the ergonomic, padded wrist rest. ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless already advertises in its name that it can be used wirelessly, that is, it is compatible with ROG SpeedNova technology, and Bluetooth and wired connections are also provided. The factory-installed, premium-quality ROG NX Snow linear and NX Storm tactile mechanical switches can be replaced at any time, you will also find suitable removal clips in the box. Of course, the button caps can also be replaced at will, but even the factory set is extremely durable and resistant to wear and discoloration. One of the less popular features of mechanical keyboards is the higher operating noise than membrane solutions. This was reduced to a minimum with the Scope II 96, and even an extra noise-absorbing layer was installed so that the unpleasant aftershock of the mechanical switches could not be heard.
It looks very good on the keyboard that the quick feedback LEDs have been placed in a thin gap above the cursor controls, but even more useful is the scroll button and extra macro button mounted in the upper right corner, which you can program as you like in the ROG Windows-based Armory Crate software.
A pleasure to use, a pleasure to look at
ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless, just like the other ROG peripherals presented in this article (with the exception of the Scabbard II mouse pad), also has RGB lighting, which you can coordinate infinitely easily in the Aura Sync software, whether it’s about playing, working or studying word, your outfit should always look cool, which will make it easier for you to complete even the mandatory laps, or at least with more enthusiasm.
