SteelSeries introduces the new Arctis GameBuds in-ear gaming headphones

SteelSeries introduced the new Arctis GameBuds wireless gaming headphones. These come with fast wireless charging and ANC. They have to go into battle with fierce competition.

SteelSeries has launched new gaming headphones Arctis GameBuds. The headphones offer active noise cancellation (ANC), support for Qi wireless charging and the ability to quickly switch between devices. Connection to devices is provided by either a small USB-C dongle, which offers a low-latency 2.4GHz wireless connection, or Bluetooth.

The headset also comes with a SteelSeries mobile app. In it, users can choose from more than 100 different equalizer modes for different games, such as Call of Duty, Destiny 2 or Fortnite. The headphones also allow you to switch between ANC and throughput modes. ANC settings, battery consumption and other things can be checked in the app on both mobile and PC.

Arctis GameBuds promise a battery life of up to 40 hours with a charging case, of which 10 hours without the case. Fast charging will allow three hours of playtime after just 15 minutes of charging. It goes without saying that high-quality 360° sound is what SteelSeries engineers focused on. In the report, they claim that bad gaming headsets suffer from, for example, low-quality small converters, a bad microphone or a weak battery. They are said to have tried to solve all these problems and are ambitiously aiming for the top of gaming headsets. The headphones will be available from October 29, 2024 for a recommended price of €170 (approx. CZK 4,300).
