Presenter Stefan Raab initially delayed his return to the screen on Saturday evening and then allowed himself to be celebrated almost religiously by the audience.
He looked well-trained and had white hair. The show of the exhibition boxing match against Regina Halmich was heading towards its climax. After six rounds, the winner was still Regina Halmich.
After a long countdown, the more than 13,000 spectators in Düsseldorf were surprised first when the spotlight shone not on Raab, but on comedian Helge Schneider, who performed his hit “Katzeklo”. After a second countdown, a show staircase rose from the high ceiling of the hall, which seemed to lead down from heaven. Then fitness influencer Pamela Reif floated over the audience as an angel on ropes and sang the anthem: “Stefan Raab is back.”
Raab then slowly and leisurely descended the endless staircase in a white suit and white cape to pathetic music and seemed to have the light in the room under godlike control. He stepped onto the stage to fireworks and glitter rain and sang his new boxing song “Pa aufs Maul” with Sido, Ski Aggu and background singers. Raab seemed to be in very good physical shape, with muscles, a white stubble and short white hair. He posed in boxer shorts with the inscription “The Killerplautze”.
This is the name of the new Raab show
It was the third encounter between entertainer Raab (57) and former boxing world champion Regina Halmich (47) in the ring. Fists flew in 2001 and 2007. Both times the Cologne native lost to the Karlsruhe native. And this time too. After the fight, Raab announced the start of a new show, which is set to begin next week. “Stefan Raab is returning to television. “I’ve thought: I’m going to do shows again,” said Raab in Düsseldorf. “It starts next week.”
Wednesdays 8.10 pm at RTL+ For 90 minutes each, it’s “You won’t win the million with Stefan Raab.” Candidates can win 1 million euros in the show. The show is recorded on Tuesdays, and all information about the new show can be found in this article!
