Analysts stated that global stock markets are following a mixed course due to the uncertainty brought by the presidential elections in the US, and that today all eyes are on the monetary policy decisions of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).
While analysts stated that the signals to be received from the monetary policy text could increase volatility in the markets, all economists who participated in AA Finance’s expectations survey predicted that the CBRT would leave the policy rate unchanged.
Analysts stated that in addition to the CBRT’s interest rate decision, the consumer confidence index will be followed in Turkey today, and second-hand housing sales in the US will be followed abroad, and noted that from a technical perspective, 11,250 and 11,350 points are resistance in the BIST 100 index, while 11,000 and 10,900 levels are support.
