Stratasys Planned Formnextu 2024 (November 19-22 in Frankfurt am Main) presentation of the platform GrabCAD IoT (internet of things) to help manufacturers manage 3D printing operations and optimize additive manufacturing productivity, the company says. The GrabCAD IoT platform is now available to Stratasys customers with GrabCAD Streamline Pro workgroup software, the new J3/J5 Series PolyJet printers and Stratasys Customer Support.
Stratasys plans to expand the solution for other technologies in the future.
The new GrabCAD IoT platform brings new features based on IoT standards that digitally transform how customers interact with Stratasys’ portfolio of 3D printers, software and services.
Key features of GrabCAD Streamline Pro, enabled by the GrabCAD IoT platform, include:
- In GrabCAD Streamline Pro, the GrabCAD IoT platform introduces Stratasys printer connectivity, enabling real-time data collection and monitoring.
- The GrabCAD IoT platform extends Stratasys’ customer support capabilities through remote diagnostics and monitoring capabilities. This connectivity allows support teams to quickly analyze printer data and perform remote troubleshooting.
- Real-time data and monitoring – Access real-time data with GrabCAD Streamline Pro on a fleet of printers.
- Data-driven insights – The platform integrates technologies that support data-driven decision-making, ensuring faster problem solving.
- Comprehensive fleet management – The GrabCAD IoT platform provides a new standards-based approach (MTConnect) that enables customers to monitor and manage all Stratasys printers within their connected and digital manufacturing environment.
