Striking Honor Magic 7 Pro is now coming to Europe

Honor is now also releasing its latest smartphones – the Magic 7 Pro and Magic 7 Lite – in Europe. You need to know this.

Honor Magic 7 Pro official from 1299 euros

Those looking for a striking flagship should definitely check out the Honor Magic 7 Pro. The smartphone was already released in China in October 2024, but is now also making its debut worldwide, including on our continent. The smartphone is very similar to its predecessor in terms of design, but has received some welcome upgrades on the inside.

Starting with that striking design, such as the pill-shaped camera cutout in the screen. This one is reminiscent of it dynamic island on iPhones and on the Honor it is equipped with a camera and a depth sensor. You choose the wide lens for group selfies and the depth sensor helps you take a realistic selfie portrait.

Furthermore, the smartphone has specifications that you would expect from a device above 1000 euros. Think of the fastest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage space. The AMOLED screen has a size of 6.8 inches and a resolution of 2800 by 1280 pixels, which is not surprising.

On the back you will find three cameras: a 200 megapixel main camera and a wide-angle and telephoto lens of both 50 megapixels. The battery has shrunk slightly compared to the previous model, but with 5270mAh you will certainly still get to the end of your day. Charging is lightning fast, wired and wireless: 100 and 80 watts.

The phone still runs on Android 14, although the Honor does bring a laundry list of new AI functions. For example, artificial intelligence improves zoomed photos, recognizes when videos are computer generated and with it Magic Portal you can easily copy information from one app to another.

Honor does not yet sell the smartphone directly in the Netherlands. We may soon see it on web shops such as Belsimpel. That party often sells telephones through gray imports that have not been officially released here. In Germany, Honor does sell the smartphone and it costs it 1299,90 euro.

For those who don’t think the phone is over-the-top enough, there is also a version of the Magic 7 Pro in collaboration with sports car brand Porsche: the Magic 7 RSR has 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage space. The telephone costs about approx 1600 eurobut will not come to Europe.

Honor Magic 7 Lite comes to Europe from 399 euros

Those who would rather not spend more than 1,000 euros on an Honor and can get by with less powerful specifications should look at the Magic 7 Lite. That phone is now also appearing in Europe, but for a smaller price of 399.99 euros. The smartphone also has less impressive specifications.

The phone runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip, which is especially suitable for simple tasks such as chatting, browsing and using social media. There is 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage space on board, which is fine for this price range.

What is particularly striking is the battery size of the Magic 7 Lite. It has a capacity of 6600mAh. This should allow you to easily get several days out of one charge. On the back you will find two cameras: a 108 megapixel main camera and a 5 megapixel wide-angle lens.
