During illegal smuggling in Narayanhat of Phatikchari, ordinary students seized 1500 kg of rubber and gave it to the administration.
These rubbers were seized from Juzhkhola area of Ward No. 5 of Narayanahat Upazila on Monday (September 9) at 9 pm.
It is known that on the way to take rubbers, the small truck was suspected by the general students and detained. When the vehicle was later checked, rubber was found. When asked the driver and other occupants they could not show any valid rubber invoice or any proof.
Confirming the truth of the matter, student Md. Yashin said – We got suspicious and stopped the car. Later we found out that they were smuggling rubber and arrested them and informed Danthmara rubber plantation.
In this regard, Ruhul Amin, DGM of Dantmara Rubber Garden, said that about 1500 kg of rubber was seized by the general students. Later we confiscated them. We will hand over these rubbers to the police through the seizure list and the process of filing a case against it is going on.
