Three years after its world debut and two years after its arrival in Europe, the Subaru Solterrathe first electric SUV from the Japanese manufacturer, is renewed with a light restyling mid-career that does not change its aesthetics, focusing on the technological equipment. And on the prices.

Speaking of display, the display has been updated. graphicsnow more readable, to offer a better overview of information such as whether the brake lights are turned on when regenerative braking is used. Finally, the electrically adjustable driver’s seat goes from 4 to 8 selectable positions.
Engine and technology
The powertrain of the single remains unchanged and is composed of two 218 HP engines in total and a 71.4 kWh battery, for a declared autonomy of 450 km. What has changed is the charging system in alternating current, now capable of reaching 11 kW of maximum power thanks to a new three-phase charger. There is also a new heat exchanger which, according to what Subaru has declared, allows for reduced charging times at low temperatures.

Another major innovation is the adoption of the new package of driver assistance systems Subaru Safety Sense 3, including new front radars and updated software. The package includes (just to name a few) Emergency Steering Assist with Active Support, to help the driver manage emergency braking and steering, and Front Cross Traffic Alert, which warns of the presence of other vehicles laterally and perpendicularly.
The prices
As mentioned i Subaru Solterra 2024 prices have been cut by 10,000 euros compared to the previous version. The entry level 4E-xperience therefore starts at 49,900 euros while the richer 4E-xperience + starts at 53,900 euros.
Standard features include 18-inch alloy wheels, full LED lights, a power tailgate, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, a 12.3-inch center monitor and Subaru Safety Sense.
