Hero of Russia, submariner and deep-sea vehicle tester Vladimir Terekhov has died.
About this stated in the press service of the administration of the governor of St. Petersburg.
Terekhov died at the age of 79.
“A talented commander, he served on warships on long voyages, participated in testing the latest deep-sea vehicles, and trained specialists in servicing marine equipment,” the press service said.
Earlier, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova announced the death of the department’s photographer Eduard Pesov.
