Lokomotiv head coach Mikhail Galaktionov commented on his team’s defeat in the match of the 16th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) from Spartak.
“It’s painful, unpleasant, but such defeats are needed to bring us down to earth. We have to work. And definitely don’t let the opponent create the chances that we allowed in the first half. The team’s reaction to the next match is very important,” Galaktionov quotes “Match TV”.
The meeting in Moscow at the Lukoil Arena stadium ended with a score of 5:2 in favor of the red and white. The winning striker Ugalde scored a poker game. Thus, he became the first Muscovite player in 26 years to score four goals in one Russian Championship match.
Thus, Spartak rose to fourth place in the standings, gaining 31 points. Lokomotiv is one line higher with 34 points.
Stankovic previously said that Ugalde returned two days ago and played a monumental game against Loko.
