After the honeymoon Eliza Feru she was no longer the same. And neither Daniele Bordicchiawho would have discovered suspicious messages on his wife’s phone and would have become convinced of an affair. These are the new things that emerge from femicide – suicide of Gualdo Tadinoin the province of Perugia, according to the words of the couple’s friends.
The alleged crisis before the femicide-suicide
On the morning of Tuesday 7 January the cameras of Morning Five they arrived in front of the house in Gaifana, a hamlet of Gualdo Tadino, where Daniele Bordicchia and Eliza Stefania Feru lived.
Two friends have reconstructed the last year of cohabitation of the couple, who got married in May 2024 – on the 23rd, according to a neighbor – and then left on their honeymoon for Egypt in the days between the end of September and first week of October.
“When they returned, a crisis began crisis because he discovered gods messages on her phone”, says a friend of Eliza. After finding those messages Daniele Bordicchia would have suspected that “she was cheating“, but Eliza would have reassured him by explaining that “he was just a friend”, thus denying the alleged betrayal.
However, for at least two weeks Eliza Feru would have moved away from the marital home while he repeated that “he couldn’t live without her” admitting that he felt “enough desperate“. Upon Eliza’s return to the house everything would return to normal, but the friend reports that progressively the woman would “see each other less and less”, meeting friends less often and generally limiting her outings.
Daniele’s sentences on Facebook
In the “information about Daniele” section on Daniele Bordicchia’s Facebook profile it is possible to read the bio written by the 39-year-old author of the femicide-suicide. In a graph Bordicchia presented itself as “50% ripe”, “60% sweet” but also “90% vindictive” e “100% crazy“. Analyzing in depth it emerges that Daniele had copied and pasted this information from another profile of a certain Francesco, a detail that can be seen immediately above the graph in the writing: “On Francesco”.
Again, under the heading “favorite quotes” the 39-year-old wrote: “If you respect me I’ll respect you otherwise I will erase you from the face of the earth“. The correspondent of Morning Five he asked a friend of the man’s opinion, who replied: “For us, as friends, a piece of cake really falls on our heads.”
The tragedy of Gualdo Tadino
According to an initial reconstruction by investigators, the tragic events date back to 11pm on Saturday 4 January. According to the investigators, the couple may have argued and for this reason Eliza Feru would have chosen to sleep on the sofa in the living room. Daniele Bordicchia, therefore, may have waited for his wife to fall asleep and then fired a gunshot at her at close range.
Shortly after, the 39-year-old returned to the bedroom to take his own life, pointing the gun at his own temple. For this reason, second Perugia Today from investigative sources, Daniele Bordicchia may have planned the tragedy waiting for his wife to fall into a deep sleep. The investigations into the dynamics and motive, however, are still ongoing.
