Sunday 29 September, throughout Italy, is the National Vintage Vehicle Day. Established and promoted by ASI with the aim of bringing many cars of the past onto the road together, it also includes a series of events in many cities for 2024.

According to what was declared by the Automoclub Storico Italiano, several Federated Clubs have met in the main Italian squares and in some of the largest events scheduled for the weekendincluding gatherings, exhibitions, thematic exhibitions, conferences and much more.

A common goal

Established for the first time in 2018, the aim of this annual event has always been to introduce people of all ages to all the culture and passion that animates the classic car sector.

As usual in its annual calendar regarding scheduled events, the ASI has published on its website a rather complete list of events expected for 28 and 29 September. At the dedicated page you can also find all the cities that have chosen to join the National Vintage Vehicle Day.

ASI President Alberto Scuro commented:

“National Vintage Vehicle Day is an event aimed at public opinion to shine the spotlight on the technical and cultural heritage of historic motoring, Italian excellence that has no equal in the world. A sector capable of involving the most disparate areas of individual daily life.”

“Starting from the direct supply chain, represented by the entire professional chain that revolves around historic vehicles, up to the substantial indirect supply chain which includes, for example, all the activities linked to tourism, hospitality and culture”.

During the day many initiatives will be broadcast live on the web and social channels of the Automotoclub Storico Italiano.
