The technology platform Bolt announces a competition to established courier services. In Bratislava, it is launching a new service called Bolt Send, which will allow customers – both private and corporate – to easily and quickly send small packages, forgotten items and gifts on the same day, within tens of minutes. The service is available directly through the Bolt application, where you just select the small package icon, similar to ordering a ride or an electric scooter.

New service Bolt Send brings several advantages to customers. It offers simple and transparent prices without the need for complex sorting of postage according to weight, size or shape of the package. This eliminates calls to the dispatch center, or complicated order forms, or Excel spreadsheets.

Senders and receivers can monitor the status of the shipment in real time directly in the Bolt application, which will ensure maximum transparency of the delivery process. Users of the service can thus comfortably and easily send packages without having to spend time delivering them personally. The principle is simple. After placing the order, just hand over the package to the driver and he will deliver it to a specific address, where the addressee can pick it up. Thanks to a wide network of partner drivers, the service is faster than a classic courier order.

Service Bolt Send it is ideal for delivering smaller packages with a maximum weight of up to 15 kg. The package must be able to fit in the trunk, the passenger seat or the back seat of the vehicle, and the package should have a maximum size of 65 x 55 x 40 cm. Sending food, alcohol, weapons, medicines or other prohibited items is not possible. Packages must be clean, safe and properly wrapped.
