Great renewal received Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 which just made its full appearance yesterday and along with the new software came a list of devices that will receive it as a new update and a rough timeline of when it will roll out to each model.
Today, a purported list of the first international devices to receive HyperOS 2 has been leaked. It’s probably confusing, since the listing says that all these phones will get the new skin “by Q1 2025” – that could mean “before the 1st quarter of 2025”, so it is better worded as “by the end of 2024”, or it could also actually mean by the end of the 1st quarter ie 31 March.
In this case, there is definitely a long wait for owners of any of them – then again, long waits for updates are nothing new for owners of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco phones.
Anyway, as you can see, the list includes the “reasonable suspects”: the Xiaomi 14 series, the Xiaomi 14T family, the Xiaomi 13T series, the Xiaomi 13 devices, as well as the Poco F6 series, the Poco X6 Pro 5G, the Redmi Note 13 smartphone, and the Redmi 12 and Redmi 13 series.
It is still unclear whether the international version of HyperOS 2 will get its own launch event or not.
