The incident took place around 21.45 in Çukurdere District of Yeşilyurt district. According to the information obtained, neighborhood watchmen patrolling on Koyunoğlu Street found a male body on the third floor of an apartment building in the region that was damaged in the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş.
After the guards informed the 112 Emergency Call Center, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon examination, medical teams determined that the person was 30-year-old Burak Alpay and that he had died.
The body of Burak Alpay, who was found to reside close to the scene of the incident, was taken to the forensic medicine institution after the examination by the public prosecutor and police teams.
An investigation has been launched into the incident.
