Suzuki Achieves SPK Spike at GIIAS 2024, New XL7 Largest Contributor

Suzuki managed to record SPK figures of 1,705 units throughout GIIAS 2024.

DAPURPACUID – PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) has successfully recorded vehicle order figures (Vehicle Order Letter/SPK) of 1,705 units (all types), throughout GIIAS 2024.

Suzuki Indonesia claims that this achievement was able to exceed the previously set target, even increasing by 12 percent compared to a similar event the previous year.

Of these, three Suzuki model lines have become favorites of visitors at the booth, namely the New XL7, New Carry Pick Up, and Baleno Hatchback.

Dept Head 4W Sales PT SIS, Randy R. Murdoko said, the positive achievements achieved by Suzuki during the 11 days of the 2024 GIIAS exhibition were sufficient to indicate positive purchasing power from the Jabodetabek community.

On the other hand, the holding of this annual automotive industry exhibition has succeeded in gaining attention from various publics in Indonesia.

“It is a satisfaction for us to be able to provide products according to the main needs of customers. Suzuki’s new car line is still believed to bring long-term value for various needs,” said Randy.

“This trust is proven by the achievement of higher sales of up to 12 percent compared to a similar exhibition last year,” he added.

In detail, the New XL7, including the Hybrid variant, is the model with the largest contribution, reaching 32 percent or recording an SPK figure of 551 units.

Followed by the ‘King’ of New Carry pickups, which was able to contribute 390 units of orders, or contribute 23 percent of the total SPK recorded.

Suzuki Indonesia believes that light commercial vehicles such as the New Carry PU continue to be in demand by customers who provide business benefits through savings and ease of operation.

During GIIAS 2024, Suzuki’s booth also displays the inspiration of Coffee Truck and Mobile Charging based on New Carry. Carry’s big name has long been part of the driving force of the Indonesian people’s economy and business.

Another Suzuki model that contributed to total sales during the last GIIAS was the Baleno, where this hatchback sedan was in demand by 18 percent of consumers, or equivalent to 304 units.

It is believed that the completeness of the features, comfort and competitive price are strong reasons for visitors to choose Baleno for their daily mobility.

On the other hand, the presence of the eVX electric car concept on the main stage of the Suzuki booth managed to become the center of attention of visitors. Its appearance in Indonesia is the first time, especially in the Southeast Asia region.

Visitors are also pampered with various facilities available while at the Suzuki booth, starting from informative sales assistants, comfortable dealing areas, kids’ corners for children, and interactive games.

Randy hopes that all Suzuki products and services presented throughout GIIAS will provide the best and most memorable experience, as experienced by other customers before.

“This event can be proof that people’s purchasing power for new cars is still maintained amidst the current dynamic economic conditions,” he concluded. (dpid/TH)
