Domestic. The government is expected to make a formal decision on Thursday to send 13 diesel-powered reserve power plants to Ukraine. It reports Swedens radio.
Energy Minister Ebba Busch (KD) emphasizes that this is not part of a larger package but an independent decision, which followed after Svenska Kraftnät contacted the government.
In total, there are 13 diesel-powered reserve power plants. But for security reasons, the government does not want to go into when or where they will be sent.
According to Per Kvarnefalk, chief strategist at Svenska Kraftnät, there is nothing wrong with the power plants, but according to him they are needed more in Ukraine than in Sweden.
Svenska Kraftnät will now make its third delivery to Ukraine.
