As the popularity of global pop star Taylor Swift continues to skyrocket, she has become the richest female musician in the world.
According to Forbes on the 7th (local time), Swift’s fortune was estimated at $1.6 billion (about 2.1526 trillion won) as of the 5th, making her the richest female musician, surpassing Rihanna with $1.4 billion (about 1.8834 trillion won).

Swift’s wealth was analyzed to consist of $600 million (about 807.2 billion won) accumulated through royalties and tour performances, $600 million worth of music, and $125 million (about 168.1 billion won) worth of real estate. Even among male and female musicians, Beyonce’s husband, rapper and business mogul Jay Z, ranked first with $2.5 billion (about 3.3622 trillion won), followed by Swift in second place.
Swift joined the ranks of billionaires in October last year based on the success of ‘The Eras Tour’, which started last year.
Forbes said Swift was the first musician to become a billionaire based primarily on her songs and performances.
Swift emerged as a variable in the election campaign last month when she announced her public support for Vice President Kamala Harris, who is competing with former President Donald Trump in this year’s U.S. presidential election.
