The home team led a dangerous action in the first minute, but Gazibegovic shot the ball across from a forced position. It quickly became clear that both guards are trying to attack in the hope of winning and staying in the game, the Hungarians tried long shots at the beginning of the match, Sallai didn’t hit the goal from 30 meters yet, but Varga’s 18-meter attempt in the middle had to be saved by the Bosnian goalkeeper. who later could only punch Bolla’s bomb after the corner.

Assist by Zsolt Nagy, goal by Szoboszlai

There was an even fight in the field, but thanks to the good play of Zsolt Nagy, there was a bit more danger in the Hungarian attacks, which were mostly running on the left side, despite this, the Hungarians also had a very promising shot, which in the end missed the goal. In the last ten minutes of the first half, Sallai’s long-range bomb missed the top left corner by inches, and Szoboszlai shot a free kick over the top from a great spot, but he made no mistake for the second time at the end of another action on the left.

Although the home team tried to increase the pressure after a change of half, Szoboszlai quickly cooled the mood by selling the penalty against Nagy for the foul. With the two-goal advantage, the Hungarians focused more on safety, as a result of which they possessed the ball less and attacked less often.

At the back, however, Rossi’s students defended in an organized manner, so the Bosnians did not have many opportunities, but Dibusz once defended the attempt of his rival’s best player, Dzeko. The Bosnians took control of the game, but they could not create great chances.

Bosnia-Herzegovina couldn’t even improve on the goal, they only exerted pressure on the Hungarian goal in very short periods, so they didn’t even manage to make it better. With the well-deserved victory, the Hungarian team took a big step towards the classification, because the host Bosnians can only overtake them if they score at least four points against the two favorites of the group, the Netherlands and Germany, in November.
