- The Czech Republic is struggling with catastrophic floods caused by extreme rainfall
- In response, the T-Mobile operator activates unlimited data and calls for all customers
- Discounts will work within the Czech Republic and will also affect clients of the Kaktus, MOBIL.cz and innogy Mobil brands
In response to the catastrophic floods caused by extreme rainfall and affecting many regions across the country, the T-Mobile operator decided to provide all its customers with unlimited data and free calls within the Czech Republic. Company spokeswoman Patricie Šedivá informed the press about this early Sunday evening.
The advantage during an extraordinary flood situation applies not only to T-Mobile clients as such, but also to T-Mobile clients customers of Kaktus, MOBIL.CZ and innogy Mobil brands. Benefits will be activated gradually from Sunday 18:00 and the benefits will remain in effect “throughout the greatest crisis.” The representative of the T-Mobile operator is currently planning to keep them until Tuesday evening.
It activates unlimited voice and data services across the board for all customers (B2C segments – prepaid and postpaid, B2B and VSE) as well as customers of the Kaktus, MOBIL.CZ and innogy Mobil brands.
Unlimited calling applies to numbers of all networks. So it doesn’t matter whether the recipient is a T-Mobile client or a competitor. However, the prefix plays a role, the given phone number must use +420. “The discount also does not apply to so-called short-codes and specially charged lines,” warns T-Mobile in a message sent to the media.
