(Seoul = Newsis) Reporter Kang Joo-hee = Taemin, a member of the group ‘SHINee’, expressed his regret over not being able to attend SM Entertainment’s 30th anniversary concert.
On the 13th, Taemin apologized through a fan communication platform, saying, “I am cautious in saying this out of fear that there may be fans who are worried about SHINee. I am sorry for not being able to show SHINee at SM Town.”
Taemin said that he will organize the inter-company stories well and said, “I also have stories that the members and SHINee would like to write more about in the future. If you are worried that my intentions are that you might want to join SHINee or that I will be able to see you in the future, then don’t worry about that. “I wish I hadn’t,” he said.
He added to the fans, “All the members love SHINee and have the same feelings,” and added, “It is a process of careful maintenance and preparation, so I hope to see them smiling.”
Previously, only SHINee members Key and Minho attended ‘SM Town Live 2025’ held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 11th and 12th, while Taemin and Onew did not participate.
Fans expressed disappointment that SHINee could not appear on stage as a whole, and Taemin denied public speculation that it was a communication problem between the companies.
Taemin transferred to Big Planet Made Entertainment after his exclusive contract with SM ended in April last year.
Big Planet Made Entertainment is a subsidiary of One Hundred, a production company founded by rapper and producer MC Mong. Singer Lee Seung-gi and girl group BBG are members.
Taemin has been active as a SHINee member and solo singer for 16 years since his debut as SHINee in 2008.
