In July this year, the cinema premiere of the film “Take Me to the Moon”, produced by Apple’s Apple Studios, took place. Now it has been announced that it will finally be included in the Apple TV+ catalog next month.
“Take Me to the Moon” is a comedy about the preparations for the Apollo 11 mission, the first landing of humans on the moon. Scarlett Johansson, known from the films “Avengers”, “Lost in Translation” and “Her”, plays the role of a marketing specialist hired by NASA to handle the media side of the entire project, which also includes… filming a false version of the landing in case the mission fails. The film also starred Channing Tatum (including “21 Jump Street” and “Magic Mike”), who plays the mission manager. The director was Greg Berlanti (including “Loving Simon” and “Political Animals”).
“Take Me to the Moon” will debut on Apple TV+ on December 6.
