After a series of successful performances in South America, where Hietala performed as Tarja’s special guest, this duo went on an official tour that will start for the European audience in September, with a concert in Germany.
The group Nightwish is with a singer Anette Olzon performed in 2008 in Serbia, as part of the Exit festival, since Tarja left the band in 2005 to pursue a solo career. Baista and singer, Marko Hietala, remained in the band until 2021, citing the need for a lifestyle change and dissatisfaction with the music industry as reasons for leaving. Before Tarja joins him on stage, Hietala will open the concert together with his wife with a repertoire of solo songs.
Having recently released his first greatest hits album “Best of Tarja – Living the Dream“, Tarja will perform a selection of songs at the concert, including fans’ favorite tracks, as well as her personal choices.
