According to Estonian Defense Minister and Deputy Chairman of the Reform Party Hanno Pevkur, the abolition of the so-called tax hump is being postponed for a year, and Finance Minister Mart Võrklaev will not remain in his post in the new government, reports rus.err.ee.
Speaking about the coalition agreement, Pevkur noted a one-year delay in the abolition of the tax hump, additional attention to ammunition reserves, a reduction in bureaucracy, and an acceleration in the review of plans.
He also added that the Social Democrats will receive another ministerial post – we are talking about a new ministerial portfolio.
Deputy Chairman of the Social Democratic Party and member of the delegation to the coalition negotiations Tanel Kiik said in an interview on Vikerraadio that taxes are planned to be increased by 500-600 million euros per year.
