TCL has introduced a phone that has matte display almost no glare. From the description, you might expect that an e-ink display is used. However, it would not have sufficient color or repainting speed, yet it was possible to practically completely eliminate reflections. The phone has a name TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper.
The display is actually IPS with resolution 2460 x 1080 pixels and frame rate up to 120 Hz. Brightness values around 500 cd/m² they are only average in this price category, but the matte finish does not require that high luminosity. Visibility outside is thus absolutely sufficient. Reflection elimination is achieved special layer.
The display will also attract people who are sensitive to flashing. Value PWM not according to the server Notebookcheck measurable, so it won’t give you a headache. Colors they are not so compared to the best displays faithfullybut the absence of glare offsets this handicap.

Price and availability
According to the manufacturer, the phone should stand around 300 EUR (about 7,300 CZK), but on Amazon, where it is listed, it is now sold out and it is not known when it will be back in stock.
