TCS launches NVIDIA business unit to accelerate AI adoption for customers across industries

The new entity will leverage TCS’ global centers of excellence, investments in the NVIDIA AI platform, including NVIDIA AI Enterprise and NVIDIA Omniverse, and skilled resources to offer industry-specific offerings to manufacturing, BFSI, telecom, retail and automotive businesses.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of the world’s largest IT consultancies, is expanding its partnership with NVIDIA to launch industry-specific solutions and offerings that will help customers adopt artificial intelligence (AI) faster and at scale.

These solutions and offerings will be delivered through TCS’ new business unit focusing on NVIDIA under its AI.Cloud business unit. Building on a partnership with NVIDIA for over five years, TCS’s new business unit brings together the complementary capabilities of both organizations and offers tailored offerings for different industries.

The new entity also offers TCS’ proprietary framework, which brings together TCS’ domain expertise as well as industry-specific knowledge with NVIDIA’s AI technology to build and deploy AI solutions to deliver value at scale to customers. TCS and NVIDIA have previously collaborated to build innovative solutions and offers for various industries. These include:

  1. TCS Manufacturing AI for Industrials: This large language model (LLM) leverages the company’s contextual expertise, technical expertise and NVIDIA’s application framework to help meet industry challenges.
  2. TCS AI Spectrum for BFSI: A service that securely delivers innovative ways to integrate LLMs and AI into the financial sector at scale. The NVIDIA AI Enterprise platform enables faster decision-making, improved regulatory compliance and risk management for financial institutions.
  3. TCS Cognitive Visual Receiving: A solution based on NVIDIA AI Enterprise and Omniverse that can revolutionize inventory management in retail. This is thanks to greater accuracy, efficiency and speed through automated quality control, product identification, measurement and feature extraction.
  4. TCS AI-Native Telco Offerings: These solutions enable telcos to quickly create custom models to meet business needs such as autonomous network anomaly management, billing and revenue assurance, 3D network visualization and customer experiences.
  5. TCS AI-Based Autonomous Vehicle Platform: TCS IoT and the digital device is working with NVIDIA to leverage generative AI and deep learning technologies to accelerate the development of end-to-end autonomous capabilities and capabilities for vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
