Specialist Evgeny Mozhaev noted in a conversation with RT that one of the main directions of digitalization is associated with increased attention to information security issues.
“With the increasing penetration of information systems into everyday life and dependence on them, this aspect has become critically important. Within the framework of information security, such areas as access management, personal data protection, as well as the fight against cyber attacks and information leaks are highlighted,” emphasized the Deputy General Director of ETP TEK-Torg.
The second issue, he said, concerns ensuring the uninterrupted operation of information systems.
“One of the key elements here was software localization, which requires significant resources to replace Western solutions. This is also due to strengthening information security,” said RT’s interlocutor.
The third area is related to the widespread adoption of cloud solutions and the use of open source programs, the analyst added.
“Cloud technologies are increasingly used, including in procurement activities, due to their scalability and efficiency,” said Mozhaev.
One of the important areas of digitalization today is to reduce labor costs and minimize the influence of the human factor, the expert noted.
“This does not imply a complete replacement of people, but given the current situation on the labor market, automation of routine tasks becomes justified. Companies invest in training employees to work with information systems and algorithms, which is a more sustainable approach compared to the constant costs of training and replacing personnel,” the RT interlocutor emphasized.
Finally, he said, process standardization and automation have become another important focus in digital strategies.
“This allows for quicker onboarding, lowers skill requirements, and reduces reliance on human factors through prompts and automated solutions built into systems,” he concluded.
