TECNO’s entry-level Pop series was last refreshed with the Pop 8 model. The next model, the POP 9, was introduced with both 5G support and a new camera sensor.
The TECNO Pop 9 5G has a 6.9-inch display with a camera in the middle. Offering HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, this display is quite good for its segment. The device has a 48MP Sony IMX582 main camera and a second camera called an AI lens. On the front, there is an 8MP resolution camera.
The device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300. The phone, which has 4 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, comes out of the box with a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. On the software side, we see HiOS 14 based on Android 14.
Connectivity options on the TECNO POP 9 5G include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, USB-C port, and NFC.
