‘Ted Lasso’ season 4 is “confirmed”

With or without Ted there will be a fourth season of the most successful series on Apple TV+!

The departure of Jason Sudeikis from “Ted Lasso” seemed a sufficient reason to end the series, which from the beginning was planned for three seasons. However, the show’s inspiring message led to a success that begged for at least one more season. After so many rumors, this possibility seems closer to being confirmed.

This week the co-host of the Magic Rays of Light podcast, Sigmund Judge, has taken advantage of his social networks to affirm that Pre-production on hit Apple TV+ comedy series to begin in January in London, England. Apple has not yet confirmed the fourth season and there is no premiere date set yet.

A publication in X in mid-2023, in which you could seeing part of the original cast of “Ted Lasso”, accompanied by the phrase: “Smells like potential” suggested the continuity of the series. Months later, Tim Cook himself shared his desire for the return of Apple TV+’s most successful series. And this 2024, Channing Dungey, president and CEO of Warner Bros Television Group, referred to the possible renewal of the series, which although it belongs to Apple’s streaming platform, was produced in association with Warner Bros Television Group.

Although there is talk of “Ted Lasso” returning, the name of the series without its protagonist would not make much sense. Then There has been talk of a spin-off or a possible name change as alternatives to address the continuity of the project. But the fact that the program is still being talked about to date indicates that Apple is not willing to let it go. And the story of the most positive coach of all time for FC Richmond is not easy to forget.

At the end of the third season we were able to see the personal and professional rebirth of its protagonists.. The definitive change in Lasso’s (Sudeikis) life in ways he could not have imagined.
