According to statement platforms, the gift can be added to the new “Gifts” tab in your profile or exchanged for part of the cost in stars.
The sender can hide his name. The recipient will know who sent the gift, but other users will not see the sender’s name, even if the gift appears on their profile.
Other updates announced by the platform include:

new categories for content complaints, such as “illegal goods”, “copyright”, “fraud or spam”, “personal information” and others;

redesigned video chat interface on iOS;

support for live broadcasts in RTMP (Real Time Messaging Protocol) mode in the Android application. The feature is available for iOS devices and PCs from 2022.
