The messages on behalf of the channel administration were published using the popular posting bot, FleepBot. The chatbot team confirmed fact of the hack and said that she was working to fix the problem.
The bot’s developers also said that they were suspending publication of posts on all channels and planned to contact “the authorities so that those responsible are punished.”
In 2022, another popular service, Crosser Bot, was hacked. The message sent out at the time began with identical words, but had the opposite political message.
