The week in the Czech Republic will be cloudy to overcast, occasionally with drizzle or light rain, especially in the north. Temperatures will rise above 15 degrees Celsius, but it will gradually cool down and it may even snow in the mountains at the weekend. This follows from the forecast on the website of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ). According to the monthly forecast, cold days with a small amount of precipitation will continue in the next week as well, during the day it should be around ten degrees at most.
Today there was also a partially clear sky and the temperatures, mainly in central and southern Bohemia, reached above 20 degrees Celsius. Ten long-term meteorological stations set temperature records.
In the following days, people will not see much sun, cloudiness will continue to be accompanied by morning fogs. Daily maximums will gradually decrease to 15 degrees on Thursday. It won’t be cold even at night.
After Friday’s mild warming, when the thermometer can show up to 16 degrees Celsius, meteorologists expect the highest daily temperatures to reach 12 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. It may snow on Saturday in the north at altitudes above 1200 meters. On the night of Sunday, temperatures may drop below zero, according to the forecast of the ČHMÚ.
The two weeks from November 11 will be average or slightly above average in temperature, with the highest daily temperatures around seven or eight degrees Celsius, according to the monthly outlook of the Czech National Bureau of Statistics. Precipitation should increase, before the end of November the snow cover could be maintained at altitudes above 1000 meters.
