On Friday, November 22, 36,689 voters went to the polls, until 21:00, in the diaspora, in the first round of the presidential elections, according to the data provided in real time by the Permanent Electoral Authority.

According to AEP, from the opening of the polling stations until 21:00, 36,689 Romanian citizens went to the polls, and 4,227 voters voted by mail, the total number of votes cast abroad being over 40,000.

The most Romanian voters voted in Great Britain – 6,189, Republic of Moldova – 5,122, Germany – 5,045, Italy – 4,750, Spain – 4,566, France – 1,756, Netherlands (Netherlands) – 1,491, Belgium – 1,475, Austria – 1,281 , Denmark – 583, Ireland – 540 and Switzerland – 495.
