‘Tesla Model 3 will be much cheaper than expected as a used car’

The Tesla Model 3 was sold on a large scale at the end of 2019 and now that the favorable additional tax is coming to an end, experts expect a huge influx of used models on the market. More supply often leads to lower prices and that is also the case with the Model 3. According to the director of Autorola Netherlands, Frank Tanke, the prices are even lower than expected. He expects a price drop of 30 to 40 percent, he tells BNR. Note: this is a price drop on top of the regular depreciation. In practice, this could mean that you will soon find many Tesla Model 3s on the internet that will only cost a little more than ten thousand. Certainly below €15,000 there is expected to be a lot of supply and then it really does not only concern cars with astronomical mileages on the counter. The expectation is that more than ten thousand Tesla Model 3s will be added to the used car market by the end of this year and the beginning of next year.
